In the Columbus 2016 Fantasy Game, you field a full roster of five different players to score points and increase your global rank. Earn one of the top scores in the world to earn a Columbus 2016 Fantasy Trophy.

Fantasy Trophy

The Columbus 2016 Trophy is a badge you can display next to your avatar in game, and you can earn a trophy if your total Fantasy Team Score is among the highest in the world. You can earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Fantasy Trophy if, at the end of the tournament, your final global ranking is in the top 30%, 15%, or 5%, respectively. In addition to winning a trophy, you can compete with your friends on the Fantasy Team Leaderboard.

To field your team, you must own an unused sticker for each player you choose. When you submit your roster, your autograph stickers will be locked and will not be usable or tradable until the end of the event. Changing your roster will not unlock the sticker, it will still be unusable and untradable until the end of the event. Trophies will be awarded after the tournament.

Group Stage | March 29th

Pick the 8 teams that will win their first-day matchups. Each correct pick is worth 1 point.

Group Stage | March 30th

Pick the 4 teams that will advance out of their groups to the Quarterfinals, and the 4 teams that will proceed to the decider match. Each correct pick is worth 2 points.

Group Stage | March 31st

Pick the 4 teams that will advance out of the decider match to the Quarterfinals. Each correct pick is worth 5 points.

Quarterfinal | April 1st - 2nd

Pick the 4 teams that will advance to the Semifinals. Each correct pick is worth 6 points.

Semifinal | April 2nd

Pick the 2 teams that will advance to the Grand Finals and then pick the Grand Final Champion. Each correct pick is worth 8 points.

Grand Final | April 3rd

Pick the Grand Final Champion. The correct pick is worth 10 points.

On each day you can earn an additional point just for playing. Trophies will be awarded after the tournament is complete.

Pick'Em Challenge Trophy

The Pick’Em Challenge trophy is a badge that can be displayed next to your avatar in game. Correct picks in either Pick'Em Challenge game award points and a bronze badge that can be leveled up to silver or gold. To make a pick, you must own an unused sticker for the team you choose. A single team sticker is sufficient for picking that team multiple times throughout the event.

Making a pick will lock the sticker for the day, it will not be usable or tradable until the next day. Undoing a pick will not unlock the sticker, it will still be unusable and untradable until the event day is complete. Trophies will be awarded after the tournament.

Global and Friends Leaderboards

In addition to winning a trophy for each game, you can compete with your friends on the Pick'Em and Fantasy Team Friends Leaderboards. Each stage of the event provides an opportunity to score points.

How many games can I play during Columbus 2016?

There are two games available, the Fantasy Team Game and the Pick'Em Challenge, and you can win two separate trophies (the Fantasy Trophy and Pick'Em Trophy, respetively). The two games use different stickers as game pieces: player autograph stickers for the Fantasy Team Game, and team stickers for the Pick'Em Challenge.

What is the Fantasy Team Game?

In the fantasy game, your goal is to score as many points as possible to achieve a high global ranking by fielding a roster of five different players.

How do I play the Fantasy Team Game?

To play the Fantasy Team Game, you'll need to own five different player autograph stickers. If you own a player's autograph sticker, you can place them in your roster. Submit a complete roster, and your players will earn points at the end of each match day based on their overall performance, earning bonus points when they perform an action for their specialized role (e.g., your Sniper earns bonus points for each kill with a Sniper Rifle).

Your roster carries over each day, so if you're happy with your team you won't need to make any changes. Should one of your players get eliminated, or you want to change your roster, you can make adjustments after the last matches of the day, until the start of play the next day.

How do my players earn points?

Each day, the players on your roster gain 2 points per kill, and lose 1 point per death. In addition, each player can earn bonus points based on their role:

The Commando earns bonus points equal to their kill/death difference.

The Clutch King gains 4 points for each kill as the last surviving member of their team.

The Eco Warrior gains 2 points per pistol kill.

The Entry Fragger gains 2 points for each opening kill of the round.

The Sniper gains 2 bonus points for each kill with a sniper rifle.

What do I get for earning a top score?

To make a pick in the Pick'Em Challenge, you must own an unused sticker for the picked team. Each day, you will have the opportunity to pick the winning team for each matchup.

How do I score points in the Pick’Em Challenge?

You can score up to 100 points by making correct picks in the Team Pick’Em Challenge. You will earn points for each of your correct picks. Additionally, you will earn a point for each day you play the game.

What do I get for picking correctly in the Pick'Em Challenge?

You can earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Pick'Em Challenge Trophy by scoring 25, 50, or 75 points, respectively. Pick'Em Challenge Trophies are badges that are displayable on your CS:GO avatar and on your Steam profile. In addition to winning a trophy, you can compete with your friends on the Pick'Em Friends Leaderboard.
